Measured 24 September 2026

What's built, and what isn't.

The rest of this site describes where Simma is going. This page is where it stands, measured against the code and the production servers, not the marketing. Every line has a file, a query or a probe behind it. Ask, and I'll show you.

First, production

What's running, and what's waiting to ship.

No paying customers yet, so nothing below has hurt anyone. But the code in development is well ahead of what's live, and that's the first thing an investor should know.

Last production release
◐ 3 Sep
Production branch last updated 3 September. 1,597 commits of finished work are waiting for the next release, including every fix on this page.
The app, at simma.ai
● Live
simma.ai returns 200; the team app redirects to sign-in as expected.
Published customer websites (simmasite.com)
Defect
Every simmasite.com address returns a Cloudflare 530 origin error, first seen 23 September and still failing today. Sites build and publish; they can't be reached on the open web. Fixed in code on 24 September; live once the DNS is repointed and the change is deployed.
Paying customers
○ 0
Pre-launch by design. The raise funds the first 50.
Design partnerNEW
● 1
A UK dance school, not named without its permission. Its website, timetable and bookings were built in Simma, and it shapes what we build next.
Area by area

The surfaces customers meet, and the engine behind them.

A depth check of what the business's customers touch, plus the money and AI claims the rest of this site makes. Items marked NEW were measured this week.

The public faces
Website builder, editor and publishing
● Live
Builder, editor and publish work; structured data verified in the generated pages.
SEO: titles, canonical, schema
● Live
Verified in the generated sites' HTML.
llms.txt for AI search
◐ Building
Fixed 22 September and verified on development: a summary of the business, its products and services for AI assistants. Reaches production at the next release.
SitemapsNEW
Defect
Each site has its own sitemap, but a platform-wide sitemap address takes priority and answers instead, with the wrong pages. It also lists pages only, not blog posts or products.
Custom domains
◐ Building
Real Cloudflare integration; no customer domain created yet.
Simmi on the websiteNEW
● Live
Answers visitors from the business's live timetable, prices, staff, events, shop and policies as cards; captures a lead when it can't answer; rate-limited per visitor.
Customer portal
● Live
Sign-in, shop orders and invoices, packs, subscriptions, downloads, returns, support tickets, profile and security all work.
Portal: move or cancel a booking, see service invoicesNEW
◐ Building
Bookings are view-only today. A cancel-and-detail module exists but isn't connected; service invoices arrive by emailed link, not in the portal.
Simmi in the portalNEW
◐ Building
Answers from the customer's own bookings, orders, downloads and memberships. Read-only: it can't yet move a booking for them.
Email: one-to-one send, inbound, builder
● Live
Send, verified inbound and a drag-and-drop builder all work.
Email campaigns
Defect
Sending credential absent and unsubscribe routes unmounted. Deliberately not switched on until both are fixed.
Phone: inbound calls to the customer record
◐ Building
Real Twilio integration and verified webhook; the missing callback settings landed 22 September and reach production at release.
Google Business ProfileNEW
◐ Building
Sync is built: details, hours and closures push to Google automatically on change, and services and products push once registered. New reviews are pulled into the Inbox every 15 minutes, with replies sent back. But connecting a Google account can't complete yet, because the Google app credential isn't configured, so none of it has run against Google. Posts, photos and insights call the wrong Google API, and the review-reply button on the profile page is a stub.
Google Maps, Q&A and Merchant CenterNEW
○ Next
Products go to Google as service items, not a product catalogue. There's no Q&A, no working Merchant Center feed and no GEO visibility tracking.
Money: Simma Pay
Payments accounts, onboarding and ID checks
◐ Built
White-label Stripe Connect accounts, a 7-step onboarding inside Simma, ID verification and an audited KYC trail. Live-mode keys not yet in production, by design before customers.
Taking payments online
◐ Built
Shop, bookings, invoices, payment links and first membership charges go to the business's own account with Simma's fee taken. Refunds, disputes, payouts and Xero/QuickBooks sync work. Built and tested in Stripe test mode; switched to live keys before the first customer.
Simma Pay rates, as pricedNEW
Defect
The plan prices (5% + 50p down to 2.5% + 25p) are stored and shown but not what's charged. The code uses older rates (about 1.5–3% plus a fixed fee), and takes no fee on in-person sales, recurring memberships or deposit balances. One rate source is the fix.
Reminders, retries and recurring invoicesNEW
◐ Building
The code exists; none of it is on a schedule yet, so today it only runs when triggered by hand.
Direct debit, buy-now-pay-later, SageNEW
○ Next
Not built. Not claimed on the Money page.
Simma BankNEW
○ Vision
A future direction on Stripe's embedded-finance products, country by country. Nothing built.
The Cascade
Eight-layer cascade: features, menus, words, emails, currencyNEW
● Live
Resolved on every page, with a precedence test for each pair of layers. 22 industries, 181 specialisms, 364 niches, 23 countries. A café is tested to receive none of a dance school's words, flows or menus.
Layers still waiting for contentNEW
◐ Building
The machinery runs, but franchise settings, and menus by specialism, niche or country, have no content yet. Website starting templates exist for dance schools only. The customer business-type picker offers four types and is admin-only.
Languages; a business of more than one kindNEW
○ Next
Six languages are declared; French is partly translated. A business is one kind today, so a studio with a shop can't be both.
Business sizeNEW
● Live
One definition of headcount, counted live and enforced by tests. By design it changes emphasis (marketing mode, setup, suggestions, AI context) and never hides a feature.
AI and the agents
Home as the business feedNEW
◐ Building
The feed engine and 7 publishers (waitlists, orders, stock, prospects, overdue invoices, content to approve, overdue tasks) are built. The new feed is behind a switch that's still off, so Home shows the older intranet feed with memory cards.
Approving an agent's idea from Home
● Live
An idea card can be approved from Home; the plan, its steps and who approved them are recorded.
Track and trace of agent workNEW
● Live
Agents are named identities with a list of permitted tools; every task step records whether a person or an agent did it; every agent action writes to the audit log.
Agent suggestions as rows in the task listNEW
◐ Paused
Switched off on 14 September because suggestions appeared in the owner's own to-do list. It returns once agents have their own list.
The business agents: Maya, Sam, Charlie, Fiona, Oli, Sage
○ Next
Roles, limits and approval rules are designed; the reasoning engine they run on is live. As named, customer-facing agents they are the next build, and they appear on this site as vision.
The agents already work here

Simma is built through its own work system.

Simma's own development runs as tasks in Simma. Coding agents claim a task, work inside a declared area of the code, commit, and check back in. It's the same machinery the business agents will use.

2,223work items in the system
568commits attached to 74 items
15agent claims recorded, from 17 to 23 September
12 of 15check-ins verified with every change inside the agent's lane
The other three, because they're the point: one went outside its lane but was covered by a ticket; one went outside with nothing recorded and was flagged at check-in; one couldn't be verified because its commit wasn't readable on the server. On 20 September two agents held claims at the same moment, 0.7 seconds apart, and each was handed a different item.
How the company will run on it: Simma runs on Simma →
The limit that travels with this. These are coding agents on Simma's own code, not the business agents. A person decides which tasks an agent may claim. 14 tasks are open to agents today, and that gate is the feature, not a gap.
How to read this site

Vision on the other pages. Truth on this one.

The other pages

The OS, area and lens pages describe the product Simma is building: the full picture an investor is being asked to back. Where something there is ahead of the code, it is listed here.

This page

Dated, measured and specific. It's re-checked before each investor conversation, and the full evidence ledger, with a file, query or probe for every line, is available on request.

Questions about any line? Ask, and I'll show you.
